I'm no gardener, but...

...I do love herbs! I generally have a black thumb, but I am very careful with herbs because I love to cook with them. So I planted this last weekend:

So far, so good. I'll post an update if they take off and flourish!

Hope they grow well and give lots of joy. I see some basil - I heart basil!

I hope they take off for you! Looks like a great assortment - I planted two basil plants and hope I have better luck than I did last year. I planted thyme last year and it has made through the winter and still kicking - yeah! The only herb I have been successful with so far is rosemary - and she has taken over, so it really isn't me!

Smiles!

How fun! One of these days I'm going to plant an herb garden. We're getting things ready for our 2nd annual tomato & cucumber garden.

Awesome! I hope that they thrive for you.

Your herbs look like they are off to a great start. Hubby grows and herb garden every year :)

You need to teach me. I LOVE cooking with fresh herbs and even though I have no problem spending money buying them, it's the wasting of the remainder that really bothers me. Teach me, teach me!!!!!!!!!!!

OH! I bet they will flourish! I have a black thumb with most plants, but my herbs grow, and grow, and grow... just be prepared to have to transplant them to something larger.
Good luck!

I hope your herb garden grows well for you. I have a herb garden in our back yard and love having access to fresh herbs for cooking. I started my basil in a pot and my chives have appeared already.

Blessings,
Lisa

Looks great! I've grown herbs in containers before, but it's been a while. I really want to plant a garden this year, but it's probably going to have to all be in containers b/c of our (hopeful) move.

Thanks all! I can't wait to start cooking with these. They need a little time to grow before I start harvesting them in recipe quantity, but I'm super excited!

Hope everyone had a great Friday!

Have fun! Are you going to transplant them? The good news is that they're weeds and will take off with not too much care. I love growing herbs! :)

Those are all really good choices. Keep us updated.

I love that Sangria chicken picture. It makes my mouth water looking at it.

That whole CVS thing.... you amaze me.
