As promised, I've got a few pics to share with you tonight. I'll keep the narrative relatively short, since I've already bored you once with this subject today. Enjoy the pics!
First up is the fence. Here's a view of the most visible part, which is right in front of the deck. It was not our preference to fence across the yard this way, but it was prohibitively expensive to fence the whole property:
And here are a couple views of the trees we planted along the ravine. Over the years, we'll hopefully see these grow to provide some nice privacy screening from the row of houses behind us:
Next up is the Pebbletec application. This stuff is so cool! It's a stone aggregate that is embedded in concrete. It provides a very durable (and neat looking) interior surface that's supposed to be the latest greatest. We'll see! So here are the guys applying that. Looks kind of like a three ring circus!
And here's the finished product - it lightens as it dries. It will be mostly a blue-green color when it's done. I'll try to get a close up for you tomorrow, when they're all done:
For now, in order to end this post on a happy note, I'm not going to show you all the mud pictures. Hubby's still outside shoveling mud... if that tells you anything about how bad it is. And it's 9:45 and pitch dark outside now... but we're ending this on a happy note so...
